
Derks Formals & Menswear is the premier name for men's clothing in Alberta. With most extensive tuxedo and vest collections, as well as the opportunity to either rent or purchase, clients are guaranteed to find exactly what they are looking for. In 2003 Derks undertook a large expansion which included a new 4000 square foot Menswear store, a 10,000 square foot John Barry-designed service centre, and a new Calgary store.

With such rapid expansion, online presence was left behind for several years until the end of 2007 when 350 Designs was approached by Derks for a complete overhaul of Derks Formal Wear website. The client wanted to enhance their online presence while maintaining core branding elements and business beliefs.
We've worked closely with Derks' creative and technical departments to produce an accessible, user-friendly website that fits the client's current image and further strengthened their brand loyalty. A number of new rich features that compel the user to make frequent visits to the website have also been introduced.
By completely restructuring the site's navigation and content delivery, users are now able to effortlessly browse through and find the information they are looking for. To top it all off, basic search engine optimization that is currently in place, generates a fairly large percentage of the website's traffic.
